Welcome to my Rapunzel shrine! She's the Disney princess that's resonated with me the most, and someone I see a lot of myself in. Both the movie and the series mean a lot to me! (even if I have a love-hate relationship with the series.)

Who is Rapunzel?

Princess Rapunzel is the heroine of Disney's 50th animated feature, and first CGI fairytale, "Tangled" (2010). Born with magic hair due to a magical flower ingested by her mother, Rapunzel is kidnapped by Mother Gothel and raised in a tower, in isolation for the entirety of her first 18 years. Rapunzel is curious and free spirited though, and after watching mysterious floating lights appear on her birthday every year, she finally takes the chance to go see them with the help of her unlikely and initially unwilling guide, Flynn Rider.

Rapunzel is artistic, kind, and sunny, winning over many people with her charm and intelligence. She's voracious in her desire for knowledge and experience, and despite initially being easily spooked, she blossoms under her new found experiences and friendships.

Rapunzel is voiced by Mandy Moore.
