Fairy boy...!
Welcome to my Malon shrine! Malon's been a favorite video game character since I was small, and made up one of the first OTPs I remember having. I'm still a huge Malink fan! 
Who is Malon?
Malon is a young girl living and working at Lon lon Ranch with her father, Talon, and his farmhand Ingo. She's cheerful and playful, with a love for horses and singing. In Ocarina of Time, she teaches Link 'Epona's song' after they've befriended one another; They meet again later in the game as adults, where Link saves her and the ranch from a corrupted Ingo, allowing her father to return after being chased out. While saving the ranch is not mandatory to beat the game, it does unlock Epona as a way to travel around Hyrule faster. She also appeares in Oracle of Seasons. In Majora's Mask, both her child and adult models are used for the characters Cremia and Romani. Malon and her father are both nods to the characters Marin and Tarin in Link's Awakening.
Malon affectionately calls Link Fairy Boy, and is believed by (most) of the fandom to be the Hero of Time's spouse, though I don't believe that's ever been canonically confirmed. Funnily enough, if you win Talon's Cuckoo game as a child, he'll ask Link if he wants to marry Malon.
